Atlantis, often referred to as the "lost city," is a legendary civilization first described by the ancient Greek philosopher Plato in his dialogues Timaeus and Critias. According to Plato, Atlantis was an advanced and powerful island kingdom that existed around 9,000 years before his time. It was said to be a utopia, blessed with extraordinary technological advancements, architectural marvels, and unparalleled natural resources. However, its people became morally corrupt and overly ambitious, leading to the wrath of the gods. In a single catastrophic day and night, Atlantis was swallowed by the sea, disappearing forever beneath the waves. While many scholars regard Atlantis as a fictional allegory meant to convey moral and political lessons, others believe it might have been based on a real place or inspired by events like the eruption of Thera or the fall of ancient civilizations. To this day, Atlantis remains a symbol of mystery, lost knowledge, and human hubris, captivating imaginations worldwide.

This stunning  Resin geode was created using Wendy’s innovative techniques inspired by Atlantis , this eye catching piece is in popular shades of blue with a hints of lavender and whites using abalone shell, clear quartz crystals, mixed medias, high quality pigments, and embellishments produces an opalescent effect, glistening as it catches the light.
